The Hollyhock Story

We started Hollyhock in the spring of 2014 with a few products made up in our signature rabbit fabric. Our fabric design is loosely based on a vintage fabric swatch found at an antiques fair. Using that for inspiration, we worked with an artist to add in new elements, freshening the design and recolouring it to fit with contemporary schemes, but all the while retaining the vintage feel.

The design is printed onto linen and made up into bedding here in the UK. The company is called Hollyhock Home after the quintessentially English country flower.

We use 100% linen for our bedlinen which, although more expensive to produce, is very kind to children’s delicate skin.

We have recently introduced upholstered nursery chairs and cushions to our product range and these complement our existing range of duvet sets and fabric by the metre.
